Welcome to the Magic House
The Magic House is both a place and a practice.
It’s the name I give to my home and studio, where I create, listen for the muse, and tend to my relationship with nature, imagination, and the unseen.
Over time, it has become more than a place. The Magic House is also the inner landscape where creativity lives— a threshold we can all enter when we slow down, pay attention, and allow wonder to guide us.
I believe creativity is not reserved for artists. It’s a way of meeting the world.
Every day offers an invitation to notice beauty, cultivate wonder, trust intuition, and create meaning from the moments unfolding in our lives.
Magic House Creations grew from my own practice of intentional, creative living. Here creativity isn’t something I do, it’s a way of being.
Through collage, I explore the symbolic relationship between nature and her rhythms, archetypal language and the divine feminine. Each piece begins with fragments and emerges through curiosity, intuition and play.
My work is an invitation to pause. To look more closely. To discover your own associations. To reconnect with your inner wisdom and creative spirit.
Meet the Artist & Keeper of the Magic House
HI, I’m Anais. I live and create in the mountains of Western North Carolina with my husband, a musician and fellow artist. When I’m not making collages, you’ll usually find me hiking to waterfalls, paddle boarding with friends or listening for the next idea to land and inspire a new creation
I hope these collages become companions in your own magic house—quiet reminders that beauty can transform the spaces we inhabit and that we each have the capacity to create meaning, cultivate wonder, and live our lives as works of art.
